We are seeking a seasoned Test Lead with strong experience in the Utilities domain to lead testing efforts for a UK-based customer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining test strategies, managing test teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery across functional, integration, and UAT phases. Familiarity with UK utilities processes (electricity, gas, water) and regulatory standards is essential.

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of UK utilities domain (retail, distribution, billing, smart metering, etc.) Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM), Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, ISTQB certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end testing activities for utilities projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations.

Define and implement test strategies, plans, and schedules.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and client stakeholders.

Ensure test coverage for regulatory compliance and domain-specific scenarios.

Manage defect lifecycle and ensure timely resolution.

Provide regular status updates and test metrics to stakeholders.

Support automation initiatives and continuous improvement.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 200.00-250.00 per day
