Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting and assembling materials using various hand and power tools. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform heavy lifting as part of the fabrication process. The Cutter will work in a factory environment, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Operate hand tools and power tools to cut materials accurately according to specifications. Fabricate components by assembling parts as required for production. Perform heavy lifting and manoeuvre materials safely within the factory. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools are stored properly after use. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. The ability to be flexible & perform other duties in the factory if required.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to sew is an advantage but not essential. Capable of performing heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as required by the role. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
