What is the job?
The Hotel Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair operations of the hotel to ensure safety and functionality. This includes coordinating contractors, managing maintenance schedules, and performing hands-on maintenance tasks. The role requires a proactive approach to identify and address potential issues before they impact guests' experiences.

About the role
Your day to day
Supervision and Management:
Supervise and coordinate any internal or external contractors completing tasks on site.
Schedule and allocate work assignments, ensuring work orders in Quore are complete efficiently and effectively.
Participate regular team meetings with GM and Estate Manager to discuss updates, issues, and improvements.
Maintenance and Repairs:
Perform daily routine maintenance requests.
Oversee and participate in the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and structural components.
Ensure timely response to maintenance requests and guest complaints.
Preventive Maintenance:
Responsible scheduled preventive maintenance program is completed in quore
Ensure follow up actions from PPM inspections are completed in timely manner.
Maintain and present to Senior Management accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and regulations, as well as hotel policies and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections and drills to ensure a safe working environment.
Address and resolve any safety hazards promptly.
Engage in Blue Energy activities within the hotel, get involved in sustainability initiatives to align with our commitment to environmental responsibility. This will include entering date from invoice into Brand Platforms
Inventory and Budget Management:
Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Prepare and manage the maintenance department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Source and negotiate with suppliers for maintenance supplies and services.
Collaboration and Communication:
Coordinate with other departments to minimise disruptions during maintenance activities.
Communicate effectively with the General Manager and Andras House Estate Department regarding maintenance issues and project updates.
Working with others to ensure a positive working environment and promote teamwork within the maintenance department
Support other properties with maintenance needs as and when required
