Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Theatre Manager to lead out dedicated perioperative team. Main duties of the job
- Provide strategic and clinical leadership to the theatre team, driving high performance and best practice - Oversee the day-to-day management and smooth running of the theatre suite - Ensure safe staffing levels, effective resource utilisation, and compliance with clinical governance standards - Collaborate closing with consultants, Anaesthetists and senior hospital managers - Support continuous professional development and create a culture of learning and accountability - Lead on infection control, health and safety and CQC standards within the theatre environment

Theatre Manager | Cambridge | Full Time 37.5 | Permanant Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Theatre Manager to lead out dedicated perioperative team. This is a pivotal leadership role, ideal for a dynamic individual who is passionate about clinical excellence, staff development, and delivering outstanding patient care in a state of the art surgical environment. Duties & Responsibilities: As the Theatre Manager, you will take full responsibility for the operational and clinical management of our theatre department, which covers a broad range of surgical specialities including orthopaedics, general surgery, gynaecology, ENT, urology and more. You'll lead and inspire a skilled MDT across our modern well equipped operating theatres, ensuring safe, high quality and efficient care for all patients. - Provide strategic and clinical leadership to the theatre team, driving high performance and best practice - Oversee the day-to-day management and smooth running of the theatre suite - Ensure safe staffing levels, effective resource utilisation, and compliance with clinical governance standards - Collaborate closing with consultants, Anaesthetists and senior hospital managers - Support continuous professional development and create a culture of learning and accountability - Lead on infection control, health and safety and CQC standards within the theatre environment Who we are looking for: - NMC/HCPC registered professional - Significant experience in a theatre setting, including senior/team leadership - Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams - Strong understanding of clinical governance, risk management and regulatory compliance - Excellent organisational, problem solving and communication skills - A calm, confident leader who can thive in a busy and complex envrioment Benefits: We offer employees a competitive salary as well as a comprehensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to: - 35 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays - Employer and employee contributory pension with flexible retirement options - 'Spire for you' reward platform - discount and cashback for over 1000 retailers - Free Bupa wellness screening - Private medical insurance - Life assurance - Free on site parking Closing Date: If we have received sufficient applications, we reserve the right to close this vacancy without further notice, so please submit your application as soon as possible Job description
