Job Overview

As a Theatre Nurse, you will work collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout their surgical journey. Alliance are seeking Theatre Nurses/ODP's who can Scrub/Circulate for the following specialties to support on waiting list initiative sessions at a location in Scotland:

ENT OMFS Urology Gynaecology General Surgery

Duties

Prepare the operating theatre for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are sterile and ready for use. Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols. Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery processes. Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately in medical records. Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in theatre nursing.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with a valid NCMC/HCPC pin. Minimum of 1 years experience working as a theatre nurse an operating theatre Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
This role is to support the delivery of waiting list initiative sessions at a location in Scotland and will be on a self employed basis.

Job Types: Temporary, Zero hours contract

Pay: 350.00 per day
