Summary

We are seeking a Theatre Nurse to join our dynamic team at NHS Professionals in the UK. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality patient care within surgical settings, contributing significantly to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Monitor and assess patients' conditions pre and post-operation. Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols. Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures and post-operative care. Document patient information accurately in compliance with NHS standards. Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities. Support the overall objectives of NHS Professionals by promoting flexibility and adaptability.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with relevant theatre experience. Strong knowledge of anatomy and patient care practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and safety. Previous experience in a surgical setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Zero hours contract

Pay: 16.53-26.45 per hour
