Are you a compassionate therapist ready to lead with purpose? We're looking for an inspiring

Therapeutic Lead

to bring a whole-school approach to emotional wellbeing in one of our diverse and vibrant primary schools.

In this unique part-time role, you'll become a vital part of the school community -- a trusted adult offering consistent, trauma-informed support for children, staff, and families alike.

What You'll Do



As a Therapeutic Lead, you'll shape a tailored wellbeing service that reflects the needs of your schools You'll work independently within a supportive team, leading therapeutic interventions, supporting your colleagues, and creating spaces where emotional health is a priority.

Your Key Responsibilities:



Deliver therapeutic support to children, staff, and parents Lead and support a team of therapists Manage referrals and coordinate mental health support Run drop-in sessions for pupils, staff, and parents Lead wellbeing workshops, staff training, and assemblies Promote a trauma-informed, mentally healthy school environment Support staff with wellbeing resources and reflective practice

What You'll Receive

Who We're Looking For



You're passionate about therapy and driven by a belief that every child deserves to feel safe, heard, and understood. You thrive in schools, love building strong relationships, and feel confident working both independently and as part of a team.

Essential:



Qualified in child/adolescent psychotherapy, counselling, or creative therapies (art/drama) Registered with BACP, UKCP, BAAT, HCPC or similar Deep understanding of trauma, attachment, and mental health in children Experience working with young people and/or marginalised families

Bonus Points For:



Previous experience working in school settings
