What we aim to do is offer support and nurture for children and young people with emotional behaviour difficulties; and help navigate through day-to-day life using the therapeutic trauma informed PACE approach.
The role of Therapeutic Support Practitioner involves
:
Providing outstanding care to children while applying their individual care plans
Taking the children on activities
Liaising with families and professionals to ensure the best possible care is being provided and carried out
Taking a proactive approach in supporting the children with attending and engaging in their education
To make and maintain accurate records of the child's day, including any incidents that may occur
Carry out general housekeeping duties, including cooking, cleaning, and completing health and safety checks
Apply safeguarding knowledge to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone in the home
Comply with GDPR and Health and Safety regulations
Shifts 2 on and 4 off rota
What we are looking for from you:
QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (highly desirable)
Experience in a children's home setting (essential)
Passion to help nurture young people
Be able to work shift patterns including sleep ins
Full, UK driving licence (essential)
All candidates must be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations
What we can offer:
A salary of 26,000-27,500 per year (based on a pay rate of 12.50-13.00 per hour with a 2 on and 4 off rota) with 65 per sleep in.
Enrolment onto the fully funded QCF Level 3/4/5 Children and Young People's Workforce qualification

As a company we are offering an annual bonus every year which is based on the performance of the home -
potential earnings can be up to 1000.
