What You'll Do
As a Children's Support Worker, you'll be that reliable, compassionate presence a young person can count on. You'll help build strong, meaningful connections while supporting emotional wellbeing, independence, and everyday routines.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Creating respectful, empathetic relationships that foster trust and stability
Supporting emotional regulation and building positive routines
Assisting with daily living activities like cooking, personal care, and household tasks
Maintaining a calm, safe, and therapeutic environment
Contributing to personalised care plans and embracing key working responsibilities
Collaborating with colleagues, external professionals, and the wider support network
Engaging in reflective practice, supervision, and ongoing professional development
Who We're Looking For

What you bring:
Experience supporting children or young people in care, education, or related settings
A calm, emotionally resilient approach to complex needs
The ability to maintain strong professional boundaries with warmth and compassion
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
Flexibility to work a rota that includes evenings and weekends
Bonus points for:
Knowledge of trauma-informed care or therapeutic approaches
