The Role:

As a CBT Therapist you will become an essential part of a child's life by providing 1:1 therapy to support and improve their mental health; and will engage with internal and external multi-agency teams around the child to ensure full communication and collaborative working to facilitate good quality and effective care and treatment. . Managing a defined caseload providing 1:1 clinical sessions with children and adolescents aged between 6 to 18 years. Offering therapeutic intervention in line with NICE guidelines. Assessing and communicating the fluctuating risks and vulnerabilities presented by the children in our care. Undertaking assessments and formulating plans for intervention and risk management in collaboration with the young people and the wider teams. Providing written records of sessions and all other associated paperwork required. Regularly meeting with the Head of Therapy Services to report progress and planning. Reporting into the internal safeguarding team as and when required. Attending monthly clinical supervision. Building and maintaining appropriate positive relationships with our children and young people; colleagues; and professionals/outside agencies. Committing to developing your professional knowledge and skillset.
