Responsibilities

Assist the Nursery Manager in daily operations and staff management. Support the delivery of high standards of childcare and education. Supervise staff to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Contribute to planning and implementing developmental activities. Maintain effective communication with parents and stakeholders. Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing standards are upheld. Support staff training and professional development. Help foster a positive, inclusive environment for children and staff.

Qualifications

Proven management experience within a childcare or nursery setting. Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of early childhood development principles. Ability to work collaboratively with a team. Commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies. Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). Experience supporting staff training and development is desirable.
