Tig Welder

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials, including sheet metal. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as well as the capability to operate power and hand tools effectively. A solid understanding of basic maths is essential for accurate measurements and calculations.

Duties

Perform TIG welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards, (2mm mild steel) Fabricate components according to specifications, using both hand tools and power tools. Assemble parts and structures, ensuring proper alignment and fit. Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency in the welding department.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding, specifically TIG welding. Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to read technical drawings. Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes. Proficient in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.50-16.50 per hour
