Job Summary

Looking for an enthusiastic person to join a well-established privately owned UK manufacturing business manufacturing windscreen wiper systems for Rail and marine applications. We want people that want a career, people we can invest in, and hope will have a long career with us.

The successful candidate must have an eye for detail and be able to focus on the job in hand. The individual must be capable of following complex instructions and have a flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

Tig welder (stainless steel and aluminium) worked experience in a similar environment. Previous experience of welding to 9606-1 & 9606-2 advantageous. Ability to Mig weld to a good standard advantageous. Able to read engineering drawings to a good standard Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding, particularly with TIG and MIG methods. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Pay: 12.21-18.74 per hour
