Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and be able to fabricate and assemble components with precision. This role requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with various materials, particularly stainless steel. As a Tig Welder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards, specialising in stainless steel exhausts Ability to weld thin-wall stainless tubing (1mm-2mm) Skilled in fabrication, fit-up, and custom exhaust layouts Strong attention to detail and clean weld aesthetics Ability to read technical drawings and work independently Fabricate and assemble components according to specifications and engineering drawings. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and resolve any issues that arise during the welding process. Demonstrate basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to welding tasks. Fabricate and TIG weld performance and OEM-style stainless exhaust systems Work on cars, vans, and custom projects

Experience

Proven experience in welding, specifically with TIG welding techniques. . Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely. Previous experience in stick welding is an advantage but not essential. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all work performed.
