The Role
We are seeking a
skilled TIG Welder who can also Mig weld
to join our growing manufacturing team. The successful candidate will work on fabricating high-quality steel components for playground structures, ensuring precision, safety, and durability in every project.
Responsibilities
Carry out
TIG welding
on stainless and mild steel components.
Read and interpret
engineering drawings
and technical specifications.
Fabricate, assemble, and finish metal parts for playground equipment.
Work to tight tolerances with a focus on
quality and safety standards (BS EN 1176, ASTM, CSA)
.
Maintain equipment and ensure a safe and organised workshop environment.
Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production staff.
Requirements
Proven experience as a
TIG welder
in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
Ability to work with stainless and mild steel to high standards.
Competence in reading technical drawings and using fabrication tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.
Awareness of health & safety in a workshop environment.
Relevant welding qualifications/certifications preferred.
