Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and at least 2 years experience in the welding and fabrication processes. This role involves working with various materials, primarily sheet metal, to create high-quality products that meet our standards. The successful applicant will be detail-oriented, capable of working independently or as part of a team, and committed to maintaining safety standards in the workplace. As well as this, they must have experience with MIG, TIG and MMA welding.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Perform stick welding and other welding techniques to join metal parts effectively. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to required standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding and fabricating ( at least 2 years) Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to metal fabrication. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during the fabrication process. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
