Tills Supervisor/Senior Till Operator at Wilton House Garden Centre
Between 33.5 or 39.5 hrs per week including alternate weekends & flexible days to suit the tills rota
We have a strong customer service ethos, where the customer is our main priority and we pride ourselves on our friendly and efficient approach. On a daily basis, the Supervisor will serve at the tills, support the cashiers, and generally help the manager to oversee the smooth running of the department. Occasionally the role will cover aspects of the managers role, therefore being able to step up in their absence.
Tills Supervisor general role
General cashier duties:
Customer service at the tills and over the phone
Customer returns and refunds
Loyalty card sign up
Taking and selling gift cards/vouchers
Supporting the cashiers when required
Arranging customer deliveries and checking all deliveries are accurate, prior to the day of delivery.
Trouble shooting any issues, where the cashiers need support, and dealing with difficult situations in a professional manner
Dealing with telephone orders and deliveries from our website
Additional duties in the absence of the Tills and Customer Services Manager
Producing and annotating a number of daily reports
Responding to customer feedback from online survey
Running the Facebook page
Cash office duties, including cashing up, banking and safe check
Supporting and Covering for the Tills and Customer Services Manager
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21-12.41 per hour
