The successful post holder will be responsible for managing the development, maintenance and delivery of all core teaching timetables, including all timetable resources (i.e. modules, groups, staff and space) for MBBS Years 1, 2 and 3 courses within the Faculty of Medicine.
What you would be doing
---------------------------
Your responsibilities will mainly involve working closely with head of years, programme directors, module and domain leads and administrators to collate timetabling data. You will be required to support the establishment of standardising the data collection mechanisms, collaborating with academic and professional staff to adapt to new ways of working and training and support for departmental staff. This data will include teaching delivery patterns, module criteria, space and staff availability and timetabling constraints.
What we are looking for

Substantial experience of timetabling and room booking using CELCAT or comparable timetabling software in a higher education setting.
Experience of developing and/or managing computerised information systems/databases.
Experience of developing and maintaining complex student groups rotations within timetables.
Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal pleasantly, confidently and effectively with a wide range of internal and external colleagues of all levels of seniority, in writing, face-to-face and on the phone.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
