We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and have experience in commercial driving. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

Operate vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Conduct pre-trip daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate records of daily work completed Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Provide excellent customer service while delivering goods to clients' locations. Assist with minor mechanical repairs or maintenance as needed, utilising mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues.

Experience

Class 2 licence is essential for this role Proven experience as a Driver, preferably in a commercial setting. A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type being operated is required. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are necessary for maintaining accurate records and ensuring safe transportation of goods.
