Summary

We are seeking an

experienced Room Leader

to join our passionate team at

Creative Minds Nursery

, located in the heart of the community. In this leadership role, you will guide and inspire your room team, ensuring that every child receives the best possible start in life through nurturing care and engaging learning experiences.

Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of Early Years Educators to deliver exceptional care and education. Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging educational programs tailored to meet the developmental needs of each child. Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Monitor and assess children's progress in line with the

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

, ensuring accurate and meaningful documentation. Build strong partnerships with parents and caregivers, maintaining open and supportive communication. Ensure compliance with nursery policies, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety standards. Collaborate with the management team to drive continuous improvement and maintain high-quality outcomes across the nursery. Mentor and support colleagues through regular supervision, feedback, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

A

minimum Level 3 qualification

in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (or equivalent). Proven experience in a leadership or senior practitioner role within an early years setting. In-depth understanding of child development and the

EYFS framework

. Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to motivate and guide others. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine passion for early childhood education and helping children reach their full potential.
