Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Toddler Room Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our toddler room. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and possess excellent leadership skills. This role is crucial in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their safety and development while managing a team of childcare professionals.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the toddler room, fostering a positive atmosphere for both children and staff. Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that promote early childhood development. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and any concerns. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards within the nursery environment. Provide guidance and support to staff members, encouraging professional growth and teamwork. Maintain accurate records of children's activities, attendance, and developmental milestones. Drive initiatives that enhance the overall quality of care provided within the nursery.

Qualifications

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings is essential. Level 3 in Childcare is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their developmental needs. Knowledge of current best practices in early childhood education is highly desirable. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Safeguarding training and First Aid training, however this can be provided if applicant does not have.
