We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Toddler Room Supervisor to oversee daily activities and care for children in our early childhood education center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development, classroom management, and childcare, with a passion for fostering a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for toddlers. This role involves supervising staff, implementing educational programs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards to support the growth and well-being of young children.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a team of caregivers and teachers within the toddler room
Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health and safety regulations
Maintain accurate documentation of children's progress, attendance, and behavior management strategies
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a welcoming environment
Coordinate daily routines including meal times, naps, playtime, and learning activities
Provide guidance on classroom management techniques and support staff in their professional development
Conduct regular safety checks of the room environment and equipment
Collaborate with early childhood education specialists to enhance curriculum quality
Qualifications
Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings
Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques (EYFS)
Certification in First Aid and CPR required
Strong understanding of behavior management strategies
Experience with infant care, toddler care, and early childhood education practices
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members
Ability to lead a team with patience, professionalism, and enthusiasm for early childhood education
Background in special education or experience working with children with disabilities is advantageous
Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs

Pay: From 30,000.00 per year
