Hours:

The Store is open 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, six days a week. Part-time contracts (permanent and casual) available with flexible shifts (mornings, afternoons, or 2-3 days per week).

The Role

The Tongue Grocery Store is a hub within the local community and serves not just to provide essential produce but is a place where people can chat and connect with others, thereby providing a vital service to the area.

Key Duties

Be a positive Team Player and represent WildLand Values at all times. Comply with all Health & Safety Policies & Procedures. Be a friendly and welcoming first point of contact for anyone coming into the Store Help customers to find and pack items Ensure tills are accurately used and float is monitored Ensure shelves are well stocked and restocked, monitoring sell-buy dates and replacing produce Open and close the Store as required ensuring that all security measures are in place Support the re-opening of the Post Office (training provided) Provide local information and directions to anyone in need Be a supportive team member to colleagues Be available to work pre-opening and post-closing hours (8-9am and 5-6pm)
