We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in various manufacturing processes. This role involves designing, fabricating, and assembling tools and components used in production, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the process.

Responsibilities

Design and create precision tools and fixtures using CAD software such as AutoCAD and other software Operate manual and CNC machinery including milling machines, lathes, and grinders for tool fabrication. Perform grinding and welding tasks to ensure the proper assembly of tools. Conduct tooling modifications and repairs as necessary to maintain production efficiency. Utilise hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of tool designs, modifications, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Tool Maker or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in milling, grinding, welding, and fabrication techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
