Tooling Engineer

...to support our production channels and manufacturing teams by designing and implementing high-quality jigs, fixtures, and tooling solutions.

Your main responsibilities include

Design and develop tooling to support product industrialisation and manufacturing processes. Participate in product design reviews to ensure manufacturability. Create and maintain operation and stage drawings using CAD tools (PTC Creo/Windchill). Manage tooling sub-contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Support automation initiatives by designing grippers and automation-ready fixtures. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve tooling issues and improve tooling performance. Contribute to digitalisation efforts by integrating parametric design data into stage models, tooling models and documentation. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in tooling design or a similar engineering role in manufacturing. Proficiency in CAD software (experience with PTC Creo/Windchill an advantage). In-depth understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) beneficial Proficient in both verbal and written communication, alongside teamwork skills. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
