provides advanced high-precision manufacturing services from centres of excellence located in the UK and Poland. We are seeking a Tooling Engineer to join our Glasgow team.

As Tooling Engineer, you will be responsible for procurement, and maintenance of tooling, fixtures, and jigs required to support machining operations. The role ensures that tooling solutions deliver efficiency, quality, and safety across the machine shop, while supporting continuous improvement and new product introduction.

Tooling Engineer Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Manufacturing Leads to ensure tool availability aligns with production schedules Prepare, repair, maintain, and enhance tooling, fixtures and CNC equipment Work closely with the engineering team to identify the correct tooling requirements for current and future client contracts Serve as the primary liaison with tooling suppliers, offering guidance and support to procurement in building commercial agreements Administer calibration activities to maintain tool accuracy Optimise machine performance and accuracy as needed

Tooling Engineer Qualifications, Skills & Behaviours:

Previous experience in a related field Understanding of machining principles, cutting tool technologies, and materials Strong problem-solving skills Well-organised with a proactive work approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques is an advantage
