We are looking for a skilled CNC Miller Programmer to join our team in Peterborough. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CNC machining, with familiarity in Fanuc or Heidenhain controls considered an advantage. Experience with CAD/CAM software is also preferred.

Role Overview: This role involves operating and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce precise components. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your expertise in mechanical operations, CAD, and SolidWorks will be essential for ensuring high-quality manufacturing. Skills in programmable logic controllers, tooling, materials handling, as well as attention to detail, assembly, and welding, will contribute to enhancing our production efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC milling machines to produce accurate parts according to specifications Design and modify components using CAD software and SolidWorks Perform fabrication tasks such as welding and assembly while maintaining quality standards Handle materials and tools safely, following all safety protocols Troubleshoot and service programmable logic controllers to maximize machine uptime Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and workflows
Required Qualifications and Skills:

Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of fabrication techniques Proficiency in SolidWorks and other CAD software Experience with CNC milling and programmable logic controllers Knowledge of materials handling, assembly, and welding procedures Basic math skills and familiarity with hand tools Understanding of tooling practices and welding standards
