, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our toolroom, coordinating a team of highly skilled toolmakers, and ensuring the timely delivery of world-class moulds to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the toolmaking team, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
Schedule and prioritize jobs in collaboration with production and design departments.
Oversee CNC machining, EDM, fitting, assembly, and tool trials.
Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot technical issues during tool manufacture.
Mentor less-experienced toolmakers to develop internal talent.
Requirements:
Proven experience in injection mould toolmaking (minimum 5 years).
Previous supervisory or team-leading experience in a toolroom environment.
Strong knowledge of CNC milling, turning, EDM, and tool assembly.
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
A hands-on leader with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.

Proven experience in toolroom management and supervision
Strong understanding of machining processes and tool maintenance
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment
