Due to continued expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time
Toolroom Technician
. This role will contribute to the maintenance of high-quality tooling, parts and associated repairs in the toolroom environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Carry out mould servicing and repairs to the required standard and timings to ensure tools are available for production on schedule.
Blending and polishing of tools - training to be provided.
Complete repairs of ancillary equipment.
Complete relevant documentation to a high standard, including all details of servicing and repair work.
Adhering and working to health and safety legislation, company policies and procedures.
Complete tasks using best working practice, procedures and knowledge sharing.
Assist the team as and when required in support of company and team adjectives.
You will:
Be experienced within an engineering and/or mechanical background - specific task training will be provided.
Proactive in fault diagnosis and problem solving.
Have strong time management skills, be able to plan your workload to meet targets and prioritise effectively.
Be an excellent team player with effective interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships with others.
Be honest, reliable and accountable.
Be hard-working with a positive 'can do' attitude.
Conscientious with a sharp eye for detail and a pride for delivering excellence consistently.
Innovative in exploring better ways of working and using your own initiative to find solutions.
Open to embracing challenges and adapting to change when required.
Safety conscious and willing to lead by example.
This is a full-time position, however a part-time or semi-retired person would also be considered.
