We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Tour Guide to lead visitors through our designated attractions and sites. Responsibilities
Conduct guided tours for groups of varying sizes, ensuring an engaging and informative experience.
Provide accurate information about the history, significance, and features of the sites visited.
Answer questions from visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Ensure the safety of all participants during the tour, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Manage tour schedules efficiently, maintaining punctuality throughout the day.
Assist with visitor enquiries both before and after tours, enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
Maintain a neat appearance and uphold a welcoming attitude at all times.
Support promotional activities by representing the organisation positively in the community.
Experience
Previous experience as a tour guide or in a customer-facing role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
Excellent verbal communication skills with clear diction and engaging storytelling ability.
Knowledge of local history, culture, or relevant subject matter is preferred.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Friendly demeanour with strong interpersonal skills capable of connecting with diverse audiences.

Payment of tours taken will be based upon an hourly wage + commission and tips
