Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery, including excavators, while ensuring safety and efficiency on site. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform tasks in a dynamic environment.
Duties
Operate excavators and other heavy machinery in compliance with safety regulations.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and achieve project objectives.
Maintain accurate records of operations and report any issues or malfunctions promptly.
Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety and operational protocols.
Assist in loading and unloading materials as required, utilising commercial driving skills when necessary.
Experience
Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in operating heavy machinery, particularly excavators.
A valid commercial driving licence is preferred but not essential.
Previous experience in a similar role within the construction or industrial sector is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
