Job Description

Brue Valley Farms is currently seeking an experiences and adept Tractor/Agricultural Driver to join our dynamic team at our modern, well-equipped farm near Glastonbury. This multifaceted role encompasses both Tractor driving and mechanical maintenance within our workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

Proficient and safe operation of all relevant machinery, including Tractor driving. Completion of tasks associated with forage production, slurry handling, and cultivation. Upholding a clean and secure working environment. Assisting with equipment and premises cleaning as needed. Maintaining accurate records. Conducting basic machinery maintenance. Providing support to the main dairy team, including stock work. Promptly reporting any concerns or machinery faults to the line manager.
Required Skills (after adequate training):

Telehandler operation. Basic tractor and machinery maintenance. Familiarity with fodder crop cultivation processes and land maintenance. Basic stock work.
In this role, you'll operate a variety of agricultural machinery while performing cultivations, forage production, slurry handling, and related tasks.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, well-organised, and adaptable to year-round demands. They should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within our team.

A valid driving license is essential, with a Telehandler certificate being desirable.

Pay: From 13.00 per hour
