Tractor Driver
Job Description
We are a 2000ac mixed farm not far from Ross-on-Wye where we specialize in growing combinable crops for seed. All operations are undertaken by ourselves using a range of modern farm machinery. We also lamb 500 sheep and keep 100 suckler cattle. A herd of 700 milking goats is also on site, but these are taken care of by a dedicated team .
We are looking to recruit a tractor driver who's duties will include:
A full range of cultivation operations.
Some drilling
Contract lime spreading over a 20 mile radius of the farm.
Hedge trimming.
Mowing and grass harvesting over 500ac
Some work with the cattle during the year, helping the stockman at busy times.
With a current average length of service of 11 years, we pride ourselves in treating all of our staff like family. We offer a good work/life balance, rarely working a 7 day week ,even during harvest.
Experience would be an advantage with training provided if required.
We are looking for someone to come and work WITH US, not FOR US !
