Bryans Salads Ltd is a third-generation family business based in the rural moss lands in Tarleton, Lancashire.
We predominantly specialize in washed, ready to eat sliced lettuce, salad leaf and baby leaf, yet we also produce high quality ready to cook vegetable packs and salad bowls, with or without added protein and vegetables, for the catering and food service industry among others.
The Bryan family have been based on the same site for nearly 60 years, initially as a farming enterprise and Bryans Salads Ltd has been in operation for over 20 years. The business has experienced exponential growth recently culminating in the recent expansion of the passionate, diligent team that the Bryan family have worked hard to create. Our team work 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year to consistently ensure that the products our customers purchase from us are the best that money can buy.
Throughout the summer months, we grow the majority of our lettuce and baby leaf within a 10 miles radius of our site.
This gives us the great advantage of being able to harvest, slice, wash, pack, collate and dispatch our products to our customers within 12 hours. You can't get fresher than that!

Brief Description About The Role
Bryans Salads are major suppliers to the UK supermarkets, restaurants and food to go chains.
During the summer season we grow all of our lettuce and baby leaf on the fertile plains of west Lancashire farming over 650 acres of crops.
Main duty will include but not limited to, carting trailers to and from field to factory.
Tractor Operator - Requirements
A can-do attitude is extremely important.
The understanding of harvesting working hours which can be extended in the summer season.
Local experience of the west Lancashire area in farming terms would be advantageous.
