Job Overview
We are a mixed farming business over 700 acres, dairy, arable and beef.
We are looking for a skilled tractor driver and general farm worker to take responsibility for all main tractor work. You must be capable and proficient in this role with the ability to work alone and as part of a team.
Ideally you will have a
PA1, PA2, PA4 and telehandler ticket
, but training can be provided for the right candidate.A house is offered as part of the package. The farm is based 2 miles from Dorchester with good local schools and amenities.
Responsibilities
Operate a range of machinery including tractors, sprayers, and combines Take responsibility for all seasonal fieldwork such as ploughing, drilling and spraying Handle forage crops and assist with silage-making operations Assist with cattle care including feeding, bedding, mucking out, and moving livestock General farm work tasks ie fencing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to 14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 - 60 per week
