At Glendale, we have a great new opportunity for a Tractor Driver/Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join our team in Elmbridge, working on a variety of sites across the borough.

Who are you?


Applicants must be reliable and conscientious, have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn, with the ability to work on their own initiative. Previous experience of grounds maintenance work, horticultural tasks and use of handheld machinery is desirable but full training will be given.


Experience in operating tractors and implements Strong grounds maintenance knowledge and practical skills. A confident person who can display good people management skills. Adaptable to different working techniques with a strong work ethic. Experienced in using a wide variety of small engine machinery Full, clean driving licence. PA1 & PA6 is desirable.
A Glimpse into the Role Awaiting You


Undertaking grounds maintenance work including;


Duties will include grass cutting, pitch maintenance and basic maintenance of the tractor and grass cutting machine. The post holders will be required to operate a large tractor pulling a grass cutting machine and also driving company vehicles/machinery, therefore a full clean UK driving licence is required for this post, as well as previous experience and relevant certification and/or demonstrable experience. Other duties may include grass cutting, hedge trimming, clearing leaves, shrub bed maintenance, litter collection and line marking as required. Candidates will also use a range of other tools.
