The Role

As a Tractor & Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating a range of tractors and construction machinery to support sports field and land drainage projects. This is a varied role where no two days are the same - from drainage installation and ground preparation to sports pitch construction and renovation.

You'll be working closely with a small team, where everyone chips in to get the job done to the highest standards.

Key Duties

Safe and efficient operation of tractors, trailers, and turf/construction machinery Supporting the installation of sports turf and land drainage systems Assisting with ground preparation, cultivation, and site works Carrying out routine checks and basic maintenance on machinery Working as part of a small team, helping complete tasks to a high standard Taking responsibility for completing tasks to a high standard, whether large or small.

What We're Looking For

Previous tractor and machinery operating experience (agriculture or construction background - both an advantage) Confident, adaptable and able to use initiative Reliable, with a strong work ethic and practical approach Holds a full UK driving licence (essential) CPCS or additional tickets (e.g. forklift, first aid) are beneficial but not essential - training will be provided if required Additional machine/skills tickets (e.g. forklift, first aid) are advantageous but not essential.
