Blue Flame Heating & Electrical is a proudly local, employee-owned business based in Penryn. For over 35 years, we've been delivering expert installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and electrical systems to homes and businesses across Cornwall. While we're well known for our work with traditional gas heating and hot water systems, we're also passionate about low-carbon technologies, energy-saving solutions, and all things electrical.

We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and well-organised Trade Counter & Warehouse Assistant to join our warehouse team.

In this customer-facing role, you'll play a key part in supporting day-to-day operations -- helping to receive and dispatch goods in and out of the warehouse, assisting customers at the trade counter, and ensuring stock is handled efficiently and accurately.

The role also includes delivering stock items to our field operatives across Cornwall using a company vehicle, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

What You'll Be Doing:

Provide excellent customer service at the trade counter and during deliveries

Assist with receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods

Accurately record stock movements and delivery details

Conduct regular stock checks and support warehouse audits

Use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld scanners

Load and unload deliveries safely -- includes lifting heavy items

Deliver and collect stock from sites and suppliers across Cornwall

Follow pre-planned delivery routes efficiently and on time

Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse environment

Comply with all health and safety procedures

Communicate clearly with colleagues and managers regarding tasks and deliveries

What We're Looking For:

Positive, proactive attitude towards work, customers, and colleagues

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required

Physically fit and comfortable handling heavy items

Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery role is desirable

Full, clean UK driving licence required
