Job Description

We are looking for a Trade Counter Assistant to join our team at our Aberdare branch. The ideal candidate will have previous shop or retail experience, strong literacy skills, and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting customers at the trade counter with inquiries, purchases, and product recommendations. Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked trade counter area. Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with trade and retail customers. Handling stock management tasks, including receiving deliveries and replenishing inventory.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a shop, retail, or trade counter environment. Strong literacy skills and attention to detail. A customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in the UPVC/PVC industry is desirable but not essential.
Working Hours & Pay:

Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM 42.5 hours per week Saturday on rotation: 9:00-1:00PM to be discussed at interview stage
Hourly rate: 12.50 per hour.
