Job Overview:
We are seeking a Trade Counter Assistant to join our local family builders merchants. We have a built a strong reputation for offering great customer service.
Early starts, we open from 7:30AM daily, so expected to be at work from 7:15AM and ready to go!
The job role will include dealing with customers over the trade counter and on the phone, email and whatsapp enquiries.
The role will be a combination of trade counter work and merchandising products with pricing and displaying products to attract customers and increase sales.
All of these roles are important to maintaining the high levels of customer service our customer have come to expect.
Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming calls and making outbound calls
- Answering Email/Whatsapp enquiries
- Communicating with customers in a professional manner
- Assisting in selling trade products
Experience:
- Ideally have a background in Builders Merchants/Building or trade counter work
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent time management abilities
Would work well under pressure especially during the busy summer periods.
We have a small team which does mean that on occasions job roles do vary from time to time.
