Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong ability to engage with customers, ensuring they receive the highest level of service. Ideally with a good level of experience in taking orders from customers both face-to-face, by telephone and emails, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the capture of sales and processing of orders from multiple channels.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, providing product information and recommendations. Manage the sales counter efficiently, ensuring a smooth flow of transactions. Maintain an organised display of merchandise, ensuring that products are well-presented and stocked. Handle customer inquiries via phone, e-mails and in-person with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and maintain a positive work environment. Keep the sales area tidy and organised, adhering to company standards.

Qualifications

A-C (or equivalent) English and Mathematics is preferred
Proven experience in a sales or customer service role is preferred. Strong communication skills Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Effective time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Experience in merchandising is beneficial but not essential. A friendly demeanour with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
