Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our team. Responsibilities

Assist customers promptly and courteously at the counter, ensuring a positive shopping experience Provide detailed product information and recommend suitable solutions based on customer needs Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining integrity Maintain organised merchandising displays to attract customer attention and optimise product visibility Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems, handling cash and card payments efficiently Assisting with collegues in manage stock levels, Handle phone enquiries professionally, providing information or directing calls appropriately Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks and ensure smooth in store operations

Requirements

Experi Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers Organised with excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently Basic maths skills for processing transactions accurately and managing stock counts Knowledge of merchandising principles to enhance product presentation Good phone etiquette and professional demeanour when interacting via telephone or in person Demonstrated ability to upsell products tactfully without pressuring customers Organisational skills to maintain a clean, well-stocked sales environment Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
