We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trade Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our sales operations by assisting with customer interactions, managing inventory, and ensuring a smooth workflow. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a knack for upselling products to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with inquiries and provide information about products and services. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance sales opportunities. Maintain an organised inventory system, ensuring that stock levels are accurately monitored and replenished as needed. Utilise basic maths skills to process transactions and manage cash handling efficiently. Communicate effectively with customers and team members, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Manage time efficiently to ensure all tasks are completed within designated timeframes. Provide assistance in various administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a customer service or sales role is advantageous. Previous experience working with industrial and / or decorative paint is advantageous Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with diverse customers. Demonstrated ability to upsell products and services effectively. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently.

Pay: 12.31 per hour

Expected hours: 38.75 per week
