We are currently looking for Trade Desk Sales Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to start or develop their sales career within the construction supply industry. While having prior experience in the field would be beneficial, please don't worry if you don't have any - we provide full training.
Main Duties Include:
Handling customer enquiries on the phone and face to face
Achieving sales targets
Dealing with cash and card transactions
Dealing with suppliers
Dealing with customer complaints and queries
Preparing quotes for customers
Some additional duties that could be included for a Trade Counter/Customer Sales
Assisting customers with product selection and providing expert advice
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Updating product displays and promotional materials
Processing orders and ensuring timely delivery
Managing inventory and restocking supplies
Keeping up to date with product knowledge and industry trends
Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Working collaboratively with team members to achieve overall sales goals
Handling returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies
Key Requirements Include:

Able to operate tills and card machines
Good spoken and written English
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers

Knowledge of basic merchandising principles and the ability to maintain store presentation standards
Understanding of store policies and procedures, including returns and exchanges
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently and accurately
Willingness to undergo training and professional development to enhance sales skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet to address customer needs or challenges.
