We are seeking a motivated and savvy Trade Marketing Manager passionate about sound, music & tech to manage our regional Marketing Activities in a fast-paced work environment.
And this is where you come in. In your new role as the Trade Marketing Manager UK & Nordic for the Pro Audio division, under a general supervision working with Manager of Trade Marketing EMEA, you will assist our retailers, rental companies and distributors with their marketing strategy, including message development, marketing materials, and brand awareness. You will work with an international team of marketers and sales professionals to assist in rolling out strategies to generate interest in these products, through a mix of tradeshows, events and demand-generating actions to drive sales for Sennheiser Pro Audio Business Unit & Neumann in the region.
In your new role, you will be responsible for:
Assist in Strategy Formulation
Research and recommend marketing initiatives and programs that align with corporate strategy and support pipeline and revenue goals for the Pro Audio Business Unit & Neumann in the Region.
Identify and propose business building and market share enhancement ideas and promotional initiatives
Utilize information obtained from the Sales department as well as Market data and suggest implications for Trade Marketing strategy
Conduct detailed analysis to better understand the current business value chain as well as potential areas for growth and efficiency expansion and propose value opportunities and channels/routes to market
Market Research and Analysis & Competition Tracking
Closely monitor and analyse Pro Audio Business Unit & Neumann sales volumes, market share trends and competitive activity in the region, using BI & CRM
Proactively scan the environment and acquire competitor and market information to help develop strategies for growth
Competition Benchmarking & tracking - Gather data on competitors and analyse their "way to market" strategy.
Keep abreast of all information like business drivers, requirements, key concerns and risks impacting the organization's business
Work closely with internal sales teams to garner feedback and evolve programs to ensure sales alignment
Market Development
Assist in preparing, presenting, executing and analyse COOP/MDF plans with our main customers
Study the market and propose initiatives (e.g. fairs, events, campaigns...) to be undertaken for increasing sales in this segment, based on KPI's (e.g. leads)
Identify and propose initiatives for creating brand awareness in B and C Class brand through trade marketing initiatives.
Assist in executing and analysing these initiatives in your region
New Business Development
Integrate with Business Group Heads and Sales team in order to understand new product developments and understand requirements from a marketing perspective
Sales Support
Work closely with the Sales department in understanding customer requirements and behaviour
Support sales pitches through researching specific client or target related information
Assist in proposing and design marketing initiatives to augment sales across regions
Marketing Initiatives Implementation
Effectively establish channel strategies along with implementing any marketing activities and initiatives in various regions
Coordinate with sales team for implementation of marketing initiatives
Recommend how to improve procedures to link entire marketing activities with sales team activities
Alliances for Marketing Initiatives
Identify and propose external agencies / strategic partners for marketing initiatives
Vendor Management and Relations
Coordinate with external vendors such as marketing agencies, Booth builders etc. and maintain relations with these
Use the approved partners per continent
Budget & Budget Tracking
Assist in creating a detailed marketing budget for various events conducted by the marketing department
Assist in tracking planned budget versus actual expenses (BI) incurred
Coordinate with the local finance teams a budget forecast in the correct cost centres
Invoices and Collections
Check the invoices received and coordinate with Finance and Accounts team for timely payment
Add the cost centre, account and a proper description of the cost
We are looking for you if:
you are qualified to degree level, in Business Management / Marketing / Public Relations / Advertising field.
you have previous experience (3+ years) in the Trade/Channel Marketing or similar role.
you have an in depth experience in Marketing in similar industry (preferably Professional Audio)
you speak and write English fluently
you have excellent planning and organization skills, as well the ability to prioritize
you have a great attitude, communication and relationship-building skills, as you will work with various people across the whole business and external agencies
you know what works and what doesn't in retail, and digital marketing
you have excellent abilities to strategically cultivate and develop existing Reseller relationships
you are able to work independently and manage your territory to achieve goals
you have excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
you have successfully supported and managed the demands and expectations of an ambitious sales team
you have polished presentation skills and strong negotiation skills to use with customer marketing teams
you have excellent budget management experience, especially with dealer marketing funds (COOP)
you can oversee tradeshow and event execution
you are happy and confident sharing ideas and collaborating with colleagues to build campaigns and execute projects
you have experience and knowledge of a broad marketing mix, and know how to execute push and pull channel marketing activities, with a particular focus on digital and ecommerce tactics
you have a creative marketing mind, and understand the importance of the high quality premium values of the Sennheiser and Neumann brands
you have knowledge of sales and marketing tools, including CRM, BI, and marketing automation
