We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Trade Office Manager to support our fast-paced trade operation.
Role Overview
The Trade Office Manager will oversee the day-to-day running of our trade office, supporting trade customers, coordinating orders, managing administration, and ensuring the smooth flow of information between internal teams, suppliers, and installers. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is confident, organised, and experienced in trade or construction-related office management.
Key Responsibilities
Office & Operational Management
Oversee the smooth daily running of the trade office.
Manage and prioritise incoming enquiries via phone, email, and trade counter.
Maintain and improve office processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Coordinate with warehouse, manufacturing, and installation teams to support workflow.
Customer & Trade Support
Provide excellent service to trade customers, offering product guidance and resolving queries.
Prepare quotations and process orders accurately within internal systems.
Build strong, ongoing relationships with trade clients and suppliers.
Order Processing & Administration
Oversee order entry, pricing checks, delivery scheduling, and documentation.
Monitor lead times and update customers with accurate order progress.
Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, returns, or aftersales issues.
Team & Supplier Coordination
Work closely with internal departments to ensure communication is clear and timely.
Liaise with suppliers regarding stock, availability, and order timelines.
Support management with reporting, admin tasks, and office compliance requirements.
Key Skills & Experience Required
Experience in trade, construction, glazing, or manufacturing office environments (preferred).
Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experienced in order processing and customer service roles.
Competent IT skills (CRM/ERP systems experience beneficial).
Ability to work independently and take ownership of office operations.
