Trade Support - Equity Swaps
Location: London
Working Pattern: Full Time (08:30 - 18:00)
Contract length: 12 months

Our client, a leading organisation in the finance sector, is seeking an experienced Trade Support/Client Services professional to join their dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work within the Equity Swaps Client Service team, which plays a critical role in supporting various desks across the equities division, including flow and yield enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:

• Executing T+0 Client Swap allocations efficiently.

• Managing lifecycle events on swaps to ensure smooth operations.

• Processing corporate action events, including elections and bookings.

• Delivering exceptional client service through our Follow the Sun model for swap queries.

• Reconciling single stock and index dividends against hedges.

• Performing rate and price fixings accurately.

• Processing dividend payments and FX transactions.

• Investigating and resolving P&L discrepancies.

• Establishing robust operational controls for effective risk monitoring.

• Resolving queries promptly and effectively.

• Engaging in projects to enhance processes and build strong relationships with Technology, Front Office, Operations, and other stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for candidates with:

• A strong background in equity, with prior experience in a middle office role preferred.

• Proven expertise in client swap allocations and lifecycle events on swaps.

• Familiarity with corporate action events processing and dividend reconciliation.

• Skills in rate fixings, price fixings, and FX processing.

• A keen analytical mindset for investigating discrepancies and enhancing operational controls.

• Excellent communication skills for effective query resolution and stakeholder relationship building.
