PC Howard Ltd offers a Total Logistic Solution for the Distribution and Warehousing of palletised products. We operate over 100 vehicles and 150 trailers combined with over 250,000 sq. feet of Warehousing. PC Howard Ltd is also a Member of Palletways, the largest Pan European Pallet Network.

We are looking to recruit a new member to join the Palletways team in our Peterborough Depot. The ideal candidate will be flexible - offering support to the current transport office team operationally, across a range of tasks. This is a fantastic all-rounder opportunity for somebody to grow and expand on their current skills in a transport environment, with the possibility of progressing to route planning. Experience is preferred, but not essential, as training will be given on the job to somebody who is enthusiastic and willing to learn.

The role includes:

- Support in the management of drivers, briefing and debriefing, helping with delivery problems encountered during the day.

- Maintain good customer relationships through regular communication, dealing with queries efficiently and effectively.

- Answer the telephone and assist with any enquiries.

The role is Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm with a 1 hour lunch break (some flexibility may be expected at times).

Pay: From 30,000.00 per year
