This exciting role involves helping to operate our National Traffic Control Centre (NTCC) in our Belfast Head office. The NTCC supports our teams on the ground delivering Temporary Traffic Management Schemes for a range of clients ranging from the utilities sector to the event industry. You will use our various systems including radio communications, tracking, dispatch system and highways CCTV cameras to support our deployments. Key Responsibilities

• You will response to radio calls to support our Traffic Management teams
• You will oversee our dispatch system to send resources to client sites / jobs
• You make sure all work is carried out according to safe working methods and best practice procedures
• You will ensure that all activities associated with the job are carried out according to laid down procedures where possible.
• You will monitor our work progress and help our team when responding to emergency call outs
• You will help design job packs and CAD drawings for new work sites / jobs

Essential Experience and Qualifications

• Be able to fully read and write English
• Be able to read and understand plans
• Be fit to able bodied to be able to lift, move and maintain Traffic Management equipment
• Be able to work well by yourself and within a team
• Have a high standard of care for all equipment under your control

This role will involved training to plan CAD drawings of Traffic Management schemes, therefore a knowledge of CAD or high level PC skills are ideal. No previous traffic management experience is necessary as full training and licences paid so you don\'t have to.
