About the role:

The role will be on a 12 days on/2 days off shift rota with a minimum 40hr contract. Please note that you may be required to work above 40hrs on a weekly basis to meet the demands of the business, and flexibility will be required for night working and occasional stopping out. We provide a stopping out allowance, overtime rate for weekend working and a pay structure running in line with the training structure.

Responsibilities:

- Installing and maintaining temporary traffic setups such as traffic lights, road closures, and pedestrian paths.

- Sometimes working solo, sometimes with a team. Being a self-starter is key.

- Manually controlling traffic lights and managing pedestrians. Your actions keep people safe.

- Setting examples in safety and quality, because that's how we keep our solid reputation.

Requirements:

We're all about the right mindset here. If you're someone who values professionalism, can communicate well and treat people with respect then you're already ticking our boxes.

- Previous experience in traffic management is not essential but is desired

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Good communication skills

- Hold a valid UK driving licence

- Traffic Management qualifications desired but not essential e.g. Unit 2, M1, M2, M5, M6, 12ab

Pay: Up to 46,500.00 per year
